Medgold Extends Warrants

Vancouver, Canada, March 25, 2014: Medgold Resources Corp. (TSX-V: MED), the European focused gold exploration company, announces that its management has determined that it is in the best interests of the Company to extend the expiry date of certain private placement warrants previously issued by the Company. Accordingly, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance, the expiry date of outstanding warrants to purchase up to 2,166,667 common shares at $0.1665 per share has been extended by one year to April 11, 2015.
Medgold is aiming to become the leading Mediterranean-focused gold exploration and project development company, with an extensive portfolio and pipeline of projects across Portugal, Italy and Spain, targeting economically stressed, but politically stable European countries that are seeking foreign investment to invigorate the mining sector.
